  ICT use for October - PowerPoint Class: PP    Period-1 st    Venue- Lower IT backup room. Subject: Mathematics    Date : 10 th October,Monday,2022 Topic: 3-D Shapes. On 10th October, I had class for Mathematics in class PP. I divided children into six groups of five children each. They were divided in this way as I had some group activity to carry on. I arranged my lesson in IT backup room in lower block. We have a screen out there where every child can see and enjoy more. Before I start my lesson I briefed and given clear instructions on what to do and not to do. I started my lesson with the PowerPoint presentation .In 1 st slide I presented with warm greeting (GOOD MORNING) and started my lesson with introduction of   3-D names. In each slide I had a 3-D shape with picture and name each. I even read out the name of the shapes aloud with correct pronunciation making all children to repeat after me as well as in group/individual. G...

Integrating ICT in learning and teaching came to our Bhutanese Curriculum after closing the school due to Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. As directed from the ministry, we teachers were forced to teach through social media specially using Wechat. Later we moved to the more better and convenient one( Telegram). So today most of us are using telegram and google classroom and many more for teaching and learning. Since then, usage of ICT became more important and mandated today in this ICT world.    Children learn better and faster through ICT.
